SEC Athlete of the Week honors were awarded to a pair of Aggies this week as Prezel Hardy, Jr. received the men's Runner of the Week and Shamier Little shared the women's Freshman of the Week accolade.
A total of 16 victories highlighted Texas A&M's performance at the LSU Alumni Gold Invitational on Saturday which included a sizzling 20.14w from Prezel Hardy, Jr. in the 200 along with an impressive 52.26 by Shamier Little in the 400.
Texas A&M will send a large contingent to the LSU Alumni Gold Invitational on Saturday as they compete in the meet along with 20 other schools. This will be the first of two visits to Bernie Moore Stadium for the Aggies, who travel to LSU on May 3.

Texas A&M's Deon Lendore earned his fifth career National Athlete of the Week honor from USTFCCCA as he recorded a world-leading time of 44.90 seconds in winning the 400 meters at the Sun Angel Classic.
Texas A&M's impressive performances at the Sun Angel Classic included a world-leading 44.90 from Deon Lendore in the 400, a collegiate leading 56.55 for Shamier Little in the 400 hurdles and a school record 199-3 for Shelbi Vaughan in the discus.
