Lamara Distin, a junior at Texas A&M representing Jamaica, won the women's high jump title with a 6-4.75 (1.95m) first-attempt clearance at the NCAA Division 1 Championships at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore. Distin captured the first outdoor high jump crown for Texas A&M since 1989 and completed the first Division 1 indoor and outdoor championship sweep in program history.
